• Description : Labourer/Tradesman Position Position for February 2022 start. We are a small family owned construction business based out of Mt Isa. We travel throughout NorthWest QLD servicing stations in all aspects of the building/construction industry. Works include general maintenance, renovations, new building works, sheds, decks, ect... typically a lot of welding and operating machinery. Seeking someone with a trade background and/or very keen attitude to learn more skills and work hard. You’ll need your own vehicle (preferably 4x4), swag, ABN, tools aren’t essential but would be a great asset. Meals provided on site. Happy for you to bring a dog or 2, must be well mannered though and good with children as our kids are always with us. Outside of work we enjoy pitching in on the station when and where it helps or we’re asked to, and going hunting with the dogs. Must be clean and tidy, self motivated, use common sense and keen to have crack. Phone and Internet access on most job sites. Happy to schedule a work roster that suits for days off and trips back home if you’re from out of town (provided materials and works are in line). Flexibility is essential in these times due to materials in short supply.
